He has grown up in Falgarwood, attended highschools in Glen Abbey and Joshua Creek, started his family in Palermo West and now resides in College Park. Beyond his three previous candidacies in Oakville and his political work, he’s an active force in local business, cultural initiatives, and non-profit organizations. As an entrepreneur and mentor, Bruno has launched ventures that drive innovation and support the arts, while also nurturing youth through programs like Scouts Canada. He works closely with local non-profits and cultural groups to enrich community life and build a stronger, more inclusive Oakville East. His commitment is about creating lasting relationships and empowering every resident to contribute to a vibrant, collaborative future.

Campaign Progress

Signatures (100-115)

To appear as a Green candidate, Bruno needs verified signatures from eligible voters in Oakville East by April 7. This is the most urgent priority — without it, the campaign ends before it starts. Elections Canada recommends collecting 115 to ensure a minimum of 100.

Volunteers (5-30)

No campaign can run without the local dedicated support of volunteers. For a full campaign, I need at least 30 to ensure we have a strong and robust team for the campaign. The minimum for a light or predominantly digital campaign is 5 volunteers.

Fundraising ($1,500K-$8,000K)

Money makes the world go round. A full campaign needs to raise $8,000 in funding. We can not buy signs, postcards, door hangers, and services vital to the campaign, like postal delivery, content sponsorship, and paid political advertising. To run a minimum or light campaign, the campaign will benefit from funding of around $500-$1,500.

Dedicated to Oakville

Bruno’s dynamic leadership has been instrumental in galvanizing local communities to take a stand for their future. Through his coordination of impactful rallies, Stop the Sprawl Halton united various local groups to challenge development plans, ultimately influencing the ruling of ROPA 49—the regional official plan that would have allowed unchecked sprawl. Similarly, his tireless work with Hands Off the Greenbelt mobilized community support and successfully reversed a provincial bill that threatened the protection of our vital Greenbelt. Furthermore, his steadfast advocacy against Highway 413 has significantly slowed the project’s progress, reflecting the community’s resounding opposition to a highway that no one wants. Together, these efforts demonstrate Bruno’s commitment to grassroots activism and his ability to transform local voices into real policy outcomes.

Proven Leadership

Chair of the Constitutional Renewal Commission, 2024-2025

Bruno embarked on his role within the Green Party of Canada's Constitutional Renewal Commission (CRC) in June 2023. By 2024, his leadership and dedication were recognized when he was unanimously elected Chair. Bruno’s stewardship has focused on enhancing operational frameworks, improving member engagement through platforms like WeDecide, and preparing for future phases that will continue to refine the party’s governance structures for greater efficiency and transparency.
