Ahead of the third annual Grassy Narrows River Run, Ontario Greens Deputy Leader Aislinn Clancy expressed strong support for the Grassy Narrows community in their fight against the province for justice regarding toxic mercury poisoning. Clancy highlighted the neglect from successive provincial governments that has left the community suffering from the health and economic repercussions of mercury contamination. The Greens stand united with the community in their demands for accountability and restoration of treaty rights as they march to Queen’s Park.
