Highlighting the severe lack of affordable housing in the region, Clancy revealed that for every affordable unit built, 39 are lost, leading to a 0 percent vacancy rate. She criticized landlords like Michael Klein, who has been implicated in multiple cases of unjust evictions, and called for immediate action to protect vulnerable tenants from being forced out of their homes.
