Kris Rivard has been officially nominated as the Ontario Greens’ candidate for Timiskaming–Cochrane in the upcoming provincial election. A lifelong resident of Northern Ontario and current Municipal Councillor, Rivard is committed to advocating for affordable housing, improved healthcare, and community protections. He emphasizes the importance of prioritizing people over profits, especially in rural areas neglected by the current government. With strong support from Ontario Greens Leader Mike Schreiner, Rivard aims to be a dedicated voice for his constituents at Queen’s Park.
