Ontario Greens leader Mike Schreiner visited Parry Sound–Muskoka as part of his ‘Local Champions Tour,’ accompanied by local candidate Matt Richter. The tour aimed to shed light on the struggles faced by communities neglected by Doug Ford’s government and to showcase the commitment of local leaders. During their visit, Schreiner and Richter engaged with residents at the Fire and Ice Festival and launched a listening campaign to gather community input. The Ontario Greens also introduced a Plan for Rural Ontario, focusing on housing, healthcare, and local infrastructure improvements.
