Marlene Spruyt, a retired family and public health physician, has been nominated as the Ontario Greens’ candidate for the Lanark–Frontenac–Kingston riding. Alarmed by the declining access to primary care in Ontario, she emphasizes the need for quality healthcare for all residents. As the party’s Health Critic and previous candidate in the 2022 election, Spruyt aims to address the healthcare crisis exacerbated by the current government’s policies. With extensive experience in rural healthcare, she is poised to be a strong advocate for her community and the province.
